Hypnosis Is A Powerful State For Change

Most people are surprised to find out that hypnosis is actually a normal state of mind that every person experiences almost every day of their lives. While it may conjure up images of mind control or a loss of awareness, clinical studies have shown that people can achieve a greater awareness of their environment during hypnosis.

Some people wonder…. Will this work for me?  Will I cluck like a chicken?  Will she swing a watch in my face?

These are natural questions that most people wonder about. I encourage you to download my free ebook called the Ten Truths of Hypnosis to learn more.

Hypnosis is an extremely efficient state of mind that artists and athletes refer to as “Being in the Zone”. Hypnotherapy, then, is getting into that state of mind on purpose and using it for some pre-selected reason. Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years and can be found throughout history. It has been studied by the American Medical Association since the 1950s with outstanding results.

I have worked with clients for over a decade and have refined my work to be extremely effective. I use a blend of conscious and subconscious work that includes methods of hypnosis, conversational hypnosis, neuroscience, coaching, NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming), mindfulness, and positive psychology. Using all of these techniques I am helping people to change behaviors and habits that have left them living limited lives. I love being a part of the process of helping people achieve what they want in life. I would love to help you as well. I invite you to call me to see if this feels right for you.

How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis works by altering your state of consciousness in such a way that the analytical left side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical right side is made more alert.

Since the unconscious mind is a deeper-rooted, more instinctive force than the conscious mind, this is the part that has to change for the patient’s behavior to alter.

For example, a patient who wants to stop smoking may try everything they consciously can to quit, but they will still fail as long as their unconscious mind retains the urge to smoke. Progress can only be made by reprogramming the unconscious so that deeply seated urges are diminished and beliefs that they cannot quit are abolished.
